The Lovely Bones

by Alice Sebold.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It did make me think about things: people, relationships, children, death, heaven. But I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone. It was a book I couldn't put down, but not in the same way I couldn't put down Harry Potter or Twilight. I did enjoy it now that I'm done reading it. I guess I'm writing this post to let you know it's a book that's out there and an interesting read.

It's about a 14 year old girl who was murdered and watches her family from heaven.

If you're looking for another good book, try The Help by Kathryn Stockett. it's a monster, like 500 pgs long, but I devoured it in 2 days. Oh, and The Book Thief is also very good.

I didn't read the book but I saw the movie, and you are tight... it was slightly trippy, and gave me the creeps for a while. Yikes! If you're looking for other good reads, The Art of Racing in the Rain is a good one, just make sure you finish it. I'll have to think of some others...
