4th of July Bash

Happy Independence Day!
We had an awesome 4th of July party at our house this year. A group of friends helped plan the party of the year that included a bounce house waterslide combo, water balloons, good food, pretty decorations, fireworks, sparklers, s'mores and lots of people.

Katie did a great job with the decorations

Doesn't the dessert look yummy?

Macy, Alyssa, Kinzley (Anna would not go down the slide! Or in the bounce house!)

The little brothers wanting to join in on the fun

I loved having a big party in our backyard! That's why we wanted a yard. The bouncehouse was on one side, people ate on the other half, and all the food was on the patio. We had about 45 people! And when a rainstorm came we had 45 people in our house! Here are the kids watching a movie during the rain.
The rain stopped just in time for us to do fireworks in the pool parking lot. The kids thought that was fun because we were so close to the fireworks. I loved seeing the look of wonder and amazement on their faces.

We all had so much fun and want to plan another party because it was such a hit. Maybe it can be a yearly party!

Can you tell Macy and Alyssa put lipstick on themselves?

We had a great little fireworks show in the pool parking lot behind our house. It was the perfect spot for it! The kids were mesmerized and enjoyed the show and the sparklers after.
